Hypnotherapy for Panic Attacks, Phobias, Obsessions, Compulsions & Irrational Fears.

Hypnotherapy for panic attacks, phobias, obsessions, compulsions & irrational fears.

Panic attacks, Phobias, Obsessions, Compulsions and Irrational Fears can make many sufferers lives a misery, often rendering mundane every day tasks difficult or impossible.

  • If you have a fear of dogs, a fear of spiders, a fear of small spaces or some other fear that is impacting on your day-to-day life, hypnotherapy can help you easily overcome these problems.
  • If you have a fear of flying, a fear of boats, or any other fear that is stopping you going places and enjoying life to the full, hypnotherapy can help you.
  • If you have a fear that just seems downright bizarre and unfathomable, hypnotherapy can still help you!

Hypnotherapy for phobias and fears is gentle and effective.

Phobias are the result of something unpleasant that has been bottled up, which then manifests itself as a phobia. Generally a phobia is irrational, because the risk posed by the phobic trigger is grossly exaggerated, although very real in the mind of the sufferer.

Phobias come in many forms that may at first sight seem to be very different.

  • A Fear of Enclosed Spaces (Claustrophobia).
  • A Fear of Dogs.
  • A Fear of Being Sick (Emetophobia).
  • A Fear of Planes (Aerophobia).
  • A Fear of Driving.
  • A Fear of Socializing or Mixing with People (Social Phobia or Social Anxiety)

All phobias and irrational fears have a subconscious cause and are the result of an internal anxiety that has been pinned onto an external, phobic object or situation (the trigger).

For someone who is flying to their holiday destination, the fear of flying could leave them feeling panicky as they near the airport and the idea of boarding the plane will send them into a full blown panic attack. The trigger here is that, when we fly, we hand ourselves over to the airline and trust they have taken care of any unexpected eventualities; because if you think about it, being 35,000 ft up in a metal tube, traveling at 500 mph is not the most natural thing to do.

Someone with a phobia of flying generally feels they have no control over there situation, but it is not the fear of flying that is making them feel anxious, it is the fear of being out of control, which they have subconsciously pinned onto the experience of flying.

Every phobia is formed this way, but obviously the subconscious anxiety at the origin will be different in each case. This is where hypnotherapy for phobias can really help, because it finds the root cause of the irrational fear, and once the underlying cause has been found and any negative emotions associated with it resolved, the phobia will stop for good!!

You will then be able to see that the phobia was only a representation of the internal anxiety, held at the subconscious level. So let hypnotherapy resolve the internal anxiety and once the anxiety is gone, then so is the phobia!

So…. “Let me, help you, help yourself”….
